Legendary Taiwan director Tsai Ming-liang was the star attraction of the East Asian Film Festival Ireland, held in Dublin between 11-14 April.

Held at the Irish Film Institute in Dublin, a selection of Tsai’s newest films and short pieces were given their Irish premiere to an enthusiastic audience, whilst on Saturday 13 April, they enjoyed an exclusive masterclass session with the auteur, using the opportunity to ask him insightful questions whilst he offered a unique insight on his film-making process.
