[Open Call] 2024 Grant for the Publication of Taiwanese Works in Translation

Grant for the Publication of Taiwanese Works in Translation (GPT2024-2) is now accepting applications.

This grant is inviting legally registered or incorporated foreign publishing house to take this opportunity, and submit your project aiming at Taiwanese works in translation to be published in print in your country. The Taiwanese works to be translated must meet the following requirements：(1) Use traditional characters, (2) written by a natural person holding an R.O.C. (Taiwan) identity card, and (3) has been assigned an ISBN in Taiwan. All genres will be considered.

All genres will be considered and the maximum grant available for each project is NT$ 600,000 (approximately £15,000). Priority is given to projects with books that have won the Golden Tripod Award, the Golden Comic Award, the Taiwan Literature Award, books on Taiwan’s culture and history, or series of books.
